The Acquisition of the Fashion Destination Marks the Publisher’s First Step into the Luxury Fashion and Beauty Space
NEW YORK, NY | MAY 1, 2025: Gallery Media Group (GMG), the digital media publisher to PureWow and a large portfolio of social-first brands including @cocktails, @recipes, and @ballplayers, announced today the acquisition of the fashion digital destination, Coveteur, effective immediately.
Founded in 2011, Coveteur captured a devoted audience by giving them a sneak peek into the closets of those that readers most admired. Maintaining the brand's signature upscale aesthetic and in-depth storytelling, Coveteur will flourish through GMG's distinctive perspective, with a renewed emphasis on social franchises and a plan to bring the brand to life through experiential moments including the Coveted Dinner Party series. The brand will reintroduce its original logo and relaunch with a newly designed, modernized website.
"The acquisition of Coveteur is an exciting and strategic step forward for GMG as we expand into the luxury fashion and beauty space," said Ryan Harwood, Founder and CEO, Gallery Media Group. "Coveteur has built an incredible legacy over the past 14 years by offering a unique and intimate look into the world of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and we’re committed to honoring that legacy while infusing it with GMG’s expertise in social-first content. We’re excited to build on what made Coveteur so beloved and bring it to a broader audience, ensuring the brand remains at the forefront of digital culture."
Under GMG leadership, Faith Xue will lead the editorial direction of Coveteur. She joins as Editor-in-Chief of the brand, serving most recently as Executive Beauty Director at Bustle Digital Group. Her appointment is effective immediately, and she will report to Mary Kate McGrath, GMG’s Chief Brand Officer. Also joining the team alongside Xue will be Senior Fashion Editor Ella O’Keeffe, most recently Head Of Brand & Digital Editor of Vogue Australia, Natasha Sheridan as Social Creative Lead from All Saints, Kala Herh as Social Strategy Lead from Hypebeast, and Ben Watts, Global Director of Photography.
“Coveteur has always celebrated the profound connection between the clothes we wear, the spaces we inhabit, and the deepest layers of our identity,” says Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief of Coveteur. “I’m thrilled to carry forward Coveteur’s legacy of inviting readers into the closets and homes of top tastemakers, while ushering the brand into an exciting new era—one with diverse storytelling at the forefront, a luxury POV that feels both inviting and intimate, and a slew of innovative new avenues for our community to engage, interact, and connect.”
Coveteur’s launch will be supported by sponsors including Rabanne, Don Julio and Amazon.
